Our family visited most of the Caribbean islands during 28 years of vacation travel. In 2006 we discovered our ‘perfect' vacation spot - Curacao and Marazul. We purchased 2 virtually identical town homes that we share with family, friends and guests [many of whom have become good friends]. We spend a good deal of money and time maintaining, improving, and up-grading our island homes [30’ apart and virtually identical]. A significant portion of the 3 - 4 months we spend on the island are devoted to making sure that neither we, nor our guests, are disappointed.
In 2023 we completed a major renovation: new kitchens [with quartz countertops], new AC, upgraded furniture and window coverings, more comfortable patio furniture and perhaps most importantly - extended our main level porches and added full awnings. This provides a great place to eat, read, and relax while over-looking the sea [30 steps away]. They allow you to be outside during the occasional rain storm and provide shade from the afternoon sun.
Previous improvements include new upper and lower patio doors, front doors, and louvered windows - maximizing the cooling breezes while keeping out the occasional mosquito, geckos, and tropical birds. You’ll appreciate and make use of the full size refrigerator, 4 burner cooktop, toaster, toaster oven, blender, and hot water at the kitchen sinks and showers. There is a full size Weber grill, portable beach chairs, beach towels, portable coolers with ice packs, a small safe, portable and overhead fans, AC on both levels, WiFi connection, ‘smart’ TV, and a well equipped kitchen with quality cookware and utensils. You will find games, books, artwork, maps and other small, comforts that will make your stay more enjoyable and remind you that you are sharing a home - not just a rental. If there are more than 2 in your party, there are sleeping accommodations [2 pull out twin beds], AC and a bath with shower on the main level.
Once settled in, you'll marvel at the fabulous view of the sea and sunsets from the living room and main level deck. You will wake to the same view through the bedroom patio doors and its adjoining deck, and appreciate the private bath, air conditioning, and comfortable, king-size bed w/memory foam pad. The true ocean front location of our town homes within the resort is ideal. No other resort buildings obstruct the sea breezes or our views of the sea and sunsets. We are far enough from the resort’s neighbors that we don’t hear dogs, traffic or pool noise - yet just steps from the sea. The calm, clear, warm waters over the coral reef and directly in front of the town homes are a great [and never crowded] place to swim, snorkel or dive.
We are confident that you, along with hundreds of couples we have hosted, will appreciate our island home as quiet, comfortable, thoughtfully furnished/decorated, and very well equipped - in a truly spectacular location. A great place to call “home” while enjoying your island vacation.
We provide our guests with directions, information and recommendations [directions, car rental, restaurants, beaches, etc,] that will help them know what to expect - on the island, at the resort, and in our town home… allowing them to make their best choices.
Please look at the small sample of our reviews. We have over 60 reviews [all 5 star] that can be accessed through a large [nameless here, but very familiar] vacation rental site. Be aware that booking through other sites adds their fees/charges to your cost.

Terrific spot
Gorgeous view and clear water for snorkeling from shore. The rental was perfect for us with the kitchen, two bathrooms and two patios. Everything is clean and maintained. Especially liked the vegetation near the patio for privacy and shade. Loved the nearby beautiful beaches! Owners very responsive and helpful.

An aquarium for a backyard!
We stayed for 8 nights. Due to flight delays, we arrived very late but the instructions got us there quickly and painlessly and our unit was open and waiting for us. We awoke to the stunning cliff top ocean view and friendly iguanas. The residents and other guests were friendly, the staff as well. All gather daily at sunset to socialize and celebrate another beautiful day. We spent very little time in our room, but we did snorkel off the walls a few times as well as a little pool time. There’s just so much to do on the island, we barely scratched the surface. Adored being in Westpunt, lots to do right around there and not too bad of a drive to the other side of things. We loved the bakery of Centrum and ate most of our meals in with sandwiches packed for our daily activities in the provided cooler. All the necessities to get us started were provided, cookware and spices, even charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. Note there is no true oven which we realized after stupidly overpaying for some American frozen pizzas. There is a toaster oven, stovetop, and microwave. Dipping tanks to disinfect and rinse your snorkel/dive equipment are available by the pool. We saw huge schools of fish, a big green moray eel, and amazing coral in our snorkels off the wall, don’t miss the big patch of brownish anemones between the two stairways. We felt extremely safe everywhere on the island including here. Property is gated, probably more to keep out goats than people, haha! We kept the windows open during the day and a/c’s on at night. We were party of three and just enough space for us. Hot water in the showers and kitchen was fine. We used the community washer (just one) once using a $3 token from the office and hung our clothes to dry on the balcony lines. No issues at all, very laid back basic stay in an absolutely phenomenal location. Thank you Pitts family and Marazul crew!
